I thought I was going to have to tape off the mirrors to give it a new color, BUT I started looking at the screws on the backside...
So I got everything set up outside and placed the mirrors carefully to the side.
I sanded some (to help the paint adhere) A little tedious but worth the effort.
I painted it all white (it was 70degrees and dried fast so I did one heavy layer of paint).
I got done and wasn't crazy about how it looked so I decided to try the shabby chic look. The only stain I could find around the house was too 'red' so I got out a pint of black paint and a cup of water and experamented. I applied the paint with t-shirt scraps and used a wet t-shirt scrap to wipe it off. And this is what I got...
I'm REALLY happy with how it turned out :)

Oooh it turned out really nice! I love those mirrors that look like windows and this one looks much better after its makeover.
